HOW TO DESIGN A PRECHARGE CIRCUIT FOR YOUR APPLICATIONS?
Precharge circuits are essential for applications with capacitive loads that can result in high inrush currents during power up. Current spikes of thousands of amps can easily damage system components such as causing contactors to weld closed. You can refer to the following document:
How to choose a contactor?
We recommend using TE’s ECK200 series, which has a large shipment volume and high cost-effectiveness. Please refer to the following link:High-Voltage DC Contactor ECK200 Series ; if you need Normally open, without auxiliary contacts, pls select ECK200AAAPA; if you need Normally open, with auxiliary contacts (N.O.), pls select ECK200HAAPA.
