Overview
The Zhongyi PowerCube series combines mature lithium iron phosphate materials with intelligent battery management systems (BMS), providing a battery with longer lifespan, lighter weight, and faster charging than equivalent lead-acid batteries.
BMS which monitors current, cell voltage, pack voltage, and temperature during charge and discharge. This protects the battery from damaging events. BMS has passive balancing function. Can extend the lifespan of lithium batteries.

FAQ
How to parallel the battery?
When connecting the Batteries in parallel, we recommend that the earth connection be made on the opposite end of the battery bank to the positive connection.
When the batteries are wired this way, the effects of resistance in the POS+ and NEG− wires cancel each other out and both batteries receive a more equal charge.

Why Charger Trips using Constant Voltage?
CV charger trips when charging the battery. This is due to the low impedance of the module creating a current inrush.Reset the charger and try again.
Why the battery Terminal Voltage Absent or Low?
Using a multimeter to check terminal voltage shows the terminal voltage is
low.Possible causes for this problem are:
- The voltage of a cell within the module dropped below 2 V, causing the microprocessor to enable under-voltage protection. Connect the battery to a charger to wake the battery and recover terminal voltage. Depending on the module’s voltage and state of balance it may take up to 48 hours to completely charge and balance the module.
- The module overheated, causing the microprocessor to enable over temperature protection. Allow the battery to cool and then recheck terminal voltage.
Battery Rapidly Depletes Energy between Charges
Possible causes for this problem are:
- The battery pack is out-of-balance. Apply a float charge (13.8 V, 0.2C) for 48 hours to balance the battery pack’s cells.
- The battery pack has reached the end of its useful service life,replace the battery pack.
Battery Current Disappears when Charging
Possible causes for this problem are:
- The battery overheated, enabling over-temperature protection, allow the battery to cool.
- Apply a float charge (13.8 V, 0.2C) for 48 hours to balance the battery pack’s cell.
- Charger voltage is too high. Reduce charger voltage to 14.4V or less.
Battery voltage appears constant, then drops abruptly.
Constant voltage throughout the battery’s SOC ensures maximum usable life. Once the voltage of a cell within the module drops below 2V, the battery’s circuitry enables under-voltage protection, which creates an open circuit at the terminals.
